GONDIA: In a ghastly incident, the driver of an Indica car lost control and rammed into a tree in the early hours of Wednesday near village Ambhora, about 7km from Gondia. One lady died on the spot in the accident while six persons were injured.
The injured have been admitted to hospitals in Gondia. The police have not yet disclosed the name of the driver.

MH-35-P-1634 going from Rawanwadi towards Gondia dashed against a tree. One woman, Sarita Kolhe (23), a resident of Boda, died on the spot while her child Hitesh, Nathu Pardhi (55), Poornima Pardhi (20) and Pradip Pardhi (18), all from Boda; Komal Thakre (18) from village Fulchur and Devendra Khajre of Deori were seriously injured.
The Gondia rural police have registered offences against the driver.
