Wardha: In a tragic incident, four students who had gone to picnic along with other schoolmates were killed in a road mishap on Tuesday evening.
According to sources, 24 students, including boys and girls, of Yashwant Vidyalaya, Dahegaon (Gosavi), had gone to Bor dam after their
SSC examination on Tuesday.
After spending the day at the dam, the students boarded two Scorpios (11 boys in one vehicle and 13 girls in another) to return to their village.
On the way, the
Scorpio driver carrying the boys overtook the vehicle carrying the girl students near Selu. However, in the process he lost control over the vehicle and the four-wheeler rammed a roadside tree. Four boys Prajwal Nagrale, Mayur Tikhe, Prasad Javanjal and Akshay Khade died on the spot. Two students Tushar Baikbode and Akash Tijare were rushed to Sewagram hospital.
