Family in hospital, Rs10L valuables stolen from home

Nagpur: Cash and gold-silver ornaments worth Rs10 lakh were stolen from the house of an autorickshaw driver in Siraspeth area when the family was at a hospital.Rajesh Tikle, 39, a resident of Telangipura behind Priya Bar, was in the hospital along with his family after his mother Shakuntalabai was injured in an accident on April 13. The theft occurred between 4pm on April 13 and 8am on April 17 when the house was left unattended. The burglar decamped with cash Rs4.50 lakh and gold-silver ornaments valued at Rs5.67 lakh.A case was registered at Imambada police station under Section 305 BNS against an unknown person.
