Religious programmes under ‘Bramhotsav’ too will continue simultaneously during the day.
“The Vidarbha-level multi-religious mass marriage ceremony will be held on May 20. Around 200 couples hailing from different communities will tie the knot at a grand venue titled ‘Tirupati Balaji Nagri’ off Dalata Road. The marriage ceremony will be followed by a grand feast comprising 56 cuisines (chappan bhog). The feast will be open for all the citizens of Chandrapur,” said Puglia.
Similarly, another feast has been organized for devotees at the Mahakali temple and the Matoshree Old Age home on May 21. A separate marathon for men and women will be held on May 22 in the morning at Gandhi Chowk.
