2 Class 8 friends die by suicide within 3 days in Buldhana

Buldhana: Two 14-year-old classmates studying in Class 8 at a well-known school in the city purportedly died by suicide within two days last week, sending shockwaves across Buldhana.Sources said, in the first case, one of the boys took the extreme step on February 11 when his parents — both teachers — were not at home.
In the second case, his classmate, whose father is posted as a jail police official, died by suicide on February 14 evening after returning from school.The death of two minor classmates has left their families devastated and raised serious concerns among academicians. The reasons behind the two incidents remain unclear at this stage.Speaking to TOI over the phone, Buldhana city police station police inspector Ravi Rathore said that cases of accidental death have been registered in both incidents.Rathore said since both the deceased are minors, the investigation is being carried out with extreme sensitivity and caution. He added that the police are also conducting a technical investigation and are examining all aspects to ascertain the circumstances behind the two deaths.
