Zoho Co-founder Kumar Vembu to Speak at TiECon Mysuru 2026
MYSURU: Kumar Vembu, Co-founder of Zoho, will speak on “Catapulting Small Cities onto Global Maps – Frugal Innovations” at TiECon Mysuru 2026, a three-day entrepreneurship and innovation gathering to be held from April 17 to 19 at JCAC.Author Vikram Sampath will deliver a talk on “Lessons of Entrepreneurship from the Pages of History.”Organised by the TiE Mysuru Association, the conference will feature over 35 plenary sessions and more than 100 distinguished speakers. The event will explore collaboration between traditional industries and new-age ventures to reimagine growth, while charter members from over 10 TiE chapters worldwide will bring global perspectives.Speaking to reporters, Pavan Ranga, Bhaskar Kalale, and Ram Kevalur said a key highlight will be the startup showcase featuring over 50 ventures through curated pitch fests and an expo.More than 20 leading investors and venture capital firms—including Nuvama, Chiratae Ventures, Motilal Oswal, Ideaspring Capital, PeerCapital, and BugleRock—are expected to participate.A special Industry Pavilion will feature over 15 Mysuru-based companies showcasing capabilities across aerospace, precision engineering, digital platforms, and advanced manufacturing.
The conference will also host keynote addresses and panel discussions on themes such as creativity and neuroscience, AI and the arts, smart farming, futuristic food systems, and policy frameworks driving Mysuru’s growth. Additional sessions will cover tourism innovation, social transformation, and the evolving startup ecosystem, as outlined in the official agenda.
