Roadshow held to announce Excon

Mysuru: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Mysuru on Saturday organised a roadshow to announce Excon, which is South Asia’s largest construction equipment and construction technology trade fair.
The fair will be hosted at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre from May 17. The trade fair will showcase the role of smart technologies and innovation in India’s infrastructure development to achieve the vision of making India the global hub for construction equipment manufacturing by 2030.
Excon, spread over 3,00,000 square meters of display area, is expected to attract over 1,000 exhibitors from India and abroad including countries like USA, UK, France, Germany, Italy, UAE, South Korea, Singapore and Sri Lanka.The five-day exhibition will attract over 40,000 business visitors from all over the world, the CII stated.
Leading construction equipment manufacturers at the exhibition will demonstrate the versatility of machines, sophistication in construction technologies, and more importantly showcase the cost effective solutions for builders and contractors for speedy implementation of projects with focus on quality, safety and environmental sustainability.
The theme of 11th edition of the Excon is “Building India for a New World: Competitiveness, Growth, Sustainability, Technology”.
“Excon, with the presence of world-class players in the construction equipment sector, will not only deliver the best in class technologies along with cost-effective solutions, but will also bring more awareness amongst all stakeholders on the latest developments in CE Industry,” said CII Mysuru chairperson Supriya Salian.
