DHARWAD: A man was allegedly murdered by his wife and her lover at
Mulamuttal village
in Dharwad taluk on Tuesday.

, 33, a vegetable seller. According to the complaint registered by his kin, Bheemappa’s wife
Kaveri had an affair with her neighbour
Shivu Nimbargi
.
Bheemappa
had come to know about the relationship but had chosen to keep quiet.
Meanwhile, Kaveri and
Shivu allegedly hatched a conspiracy to eliminate Bheemappa. On Tuesday, Shivu hacked Bheemappa to death using a sickle. Hearing Bheemappa’s cries for help, neighbours rushed to his house and found him lying in a pool of blood.
Both the accused were nabbed by the police.
