MADIKERI: Dhruti Pujari of Madikeri has won the championship in the junior category at the 8th International Brainobrain Abacus competition held at Dubai.

Dhruti Pujari is being trained at Mapangada Kavita Karumbaya's Brainobrain Abacus Institute in Madikeri and participated in the international competition as one of the two contestants from Karnataka State.
The Abacus competition was held at Sheikh Rashid Hall, Dubai. Over 2,000 students from 16 countries have participated and for the first time, a student has gone to Dubai to participate in the international-level competition .
Dhruti Pujari is the daughter of Jayant Pujari and Chetana, owner of Udupi Garden Hotel, Madikeri, and is studying in second standard at Saint Joseph's Convent, Madikeri.
