Week on, baby set on fire by father dies

Mumbai: The infant, who was set on fire along with his mother and cousin at their Mira Road home by his father on December 31, has succumbed to his burns.
The accused Bahadursingh Parmar, 34, had poured petrol on his second wife Tanya, 26, son Jaidev, 13 months, and Tanya’s niece Shakila, 20, at their flat in Mira Road on December 31 and set them a fire.
While Shakila died on the spot, Tanya passed away in hospital a day later. Jaidev, who was being treated for severe burns at a private hospital in Malad, died on Thursday
