Two children crushed to death in Dadar
MUMBAI: Two children were crushed to death by a speeding State Transport (ST) bus at Dadar TT Circle on Wednesday morning.
The deceased, Mohammad Umair Khan (8) and Mubsar Khan (5), both siblings, were staying with their parents and other siblings beneath the Jagannath Shankar Seth flyover.
Officials said the family did not have a permanent residence after their shanty at Bandra's Garib Nagar was gutted in March.

The Matunga police said the incident took place at 9.15 am, when Umair and Mubsar went to drink water.
They were crossing the B A Road, when the bus (MH-07 C 7263), headed to the Chiplun bus depot, speeded towards them.
"The children were crushed under the bus' rear wheels. They were sent to Sion Hospital, where they succumbed to injuries," a police official said.
The bus driver, Rajendra Jalgam (42), has been booked for causing death by negligence under Section 304 A of the Indian Penal Code.
The kids' father, Nawab Khan, who works as a plumber, had moved to Dadar TT two months ago. Umair and Mubsar have a younger sister and two brothers.
