Sheena Bora murder case: Indrani Mukerjea seeks bail on medical grounds

MUMBAI: Delhi lawyer Tanveer Ahmed, arguing for bail to Indrani Mukerjea, accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, said her "deteriorating health issue is ground which enables her to ask for restoration of liberty".


He sought bail on medical grounds, citing expert medical reports to show that she has "cerebral atrophy" and unless granted bail, if some medical emergency were to occur in the wee hours, it would be difficult to get prompt and expert neurological assistance at any dispensary in the "correctional facility".
