Sana Khan bail plea in Thane today

MUMBAI: Actor and reality TV star Sana Khan (25) appeared before the Thane sessions court on Thursday for her pending bail application in a recent police case wherein she has been charged with attempt to kidnap and detain a minor girl in Navi Mumbai.
The court adjourned her hearing, posting it for Friday, following which she headed backtothesetsof thefilm Mental, which stars Salman Khan.
In a recent interview, Sana denied all charges against her regarding the girl, who is 16 and was reportedly friendly with Sana’s cousin Naved, before she stopped interacting with him, upsetting the boy. On April 30, Sana, along with four others, reportedly went to Navi Mumbai to speak to the girl on behalf of her cousin.
“Based on the statement of the minor’s mother,wehad registered an FIR against Sana Khan and four youngsters, including Naved Khan (18 ),” said senior inspector R Katkar of the Sanpada policestation. “Sana had earlier got anticipatory bail from the sessions court and is now trying for proper bail in the case. She is likely to get bail.”
