MUMBAI: The four-year-old boy who was kidnapped from his residence at Goregaon (E) last Friday was brought back to Mumbai on Tuesday evening. Omkar Chorghade was brought to the city by four officials from the Dindoshi police. The police said that Omkar was in good heath and had no injury marks on his body.

The group arrived in the city around 6.30 pm by flight. Officials said Omkar is in perfect health and there are no injuries on his body. His relatives were overjoyed to see him.
Last Friday, Omkar was had been riding a bicycle in his building compound when he was kidnapped by four unidentified men. When Omkar didn't return home, his parents lodged a missing person's complaint with the Dindoshi police. Within 48 hours, the family received a call from the police saying Omkar has been found.
Omkar was found crying at Mathura railway station on Sunday. The Railway Protection Force officials saw him and started inquiring about his whereabouts. Omkar told the cops that he is from Mumbai. The Matura police then got in touch with officials from the Mumbai police. They then learnt that a missing person's complaint was filed with the Dindoshi police. The Dindoshi police were informed about Omkar and a police team was immediately sent to Mathura to get Omkar back.

Omkar was found on Mathura railway station on Sunday after an Railway Protection Force (RPF) official got suspicious seeing him cry uncontrollably and speak in Marathi. On making inquiries, Omkar told the RPF that he stayed in Mumbai. The Mathura police then contacted the Mumbai police.

"There are at least four kidnappers involved," a Dindoshi police official said.
"One of them, Khalid (15), has beenarrested from the same railway platform at Mathura where Omkar was found sobbing. Khalid is aged around 15 years
." Khalid has told the police that he and his three associates kidnapped Omkar around 12.30 pm on Friday, on the pretext of buying him a toy. "Khalid's associates instructed him to take the boy to Mathura and leave him there. The trio got off at Surat, while Khalid continued to his journey Mathura along with Omkar. When the RPF found Khalid on the platform at Mathura, he was trying to make a call to Mumbai," the official said.
The motive behind kidnapping is not clear yet. No ransom calls were received by Omkar's family.
