Picasso, Dali, Warhol to pop into Mumbai
MUMBAI: The Masters are coming to Mumbai.
After British contemporary artist Julian Opie and US painter Kiki Smith, the city will witness the works of Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol and Arman. While paintings and sculpture by Picasso were showcased in the city as part of the Enduring Image exhibition at the NGMA, this is perhaps the first time that so many top international names are being displayed at one show.
The most celebrated work is Wahrol's famous pop-art take on Mao.

Picasso's Portrait Imaginaire (part of a series painted by the Cubist master shortly before his death) and Dali's Dance of Time II, a variation of his seminal Melting Time series will also be part of the four-day exhibition to be held at the Viewing Room on Colaba Causeway between March 18 and 21.
Art aficionados will also be treated to works by European artists, such as Stiphane Cipre, Jvrg Dvring, Mazel-Jalix, Patrick Hughes, Arman and Frank Tordjmann. The exhibition is being curated by the Delhi-based Marigold Fine Art Gallery.
