Parts of Mumbai see drizzle on Saturday evening

MUMBAI: Some parts of the city – especially

South Mumbai

witnessed a light drizzle on Saturday evening. The weather department has forecast partly cloudy skies, over the next 24 hours.

, Mumbai said that a north-south trough is running through the state could result in thunderstorms with lighting and rain at isolated places for the next five days in Konkan, central Maharashtra and Vidharbha. The IMD has however forecast dry days for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad for the rest of the week.


The day (maximum) temperature on Sunday as recorded by the IMD Colaba observatory was 32.6 degree Celsius while the IMD Santacruz observatory reported maximum temperature of 33.5 degrees. The relative humidity recorded at the two stations was 80% and 59% respectively.
