Focus on Mumbai slums, as BMC gears up for the third wave: Suresh Kakani

TOI spoke to Suresh Kakani, Additional Municipal Commissioner (AMC), about how the civic body is thinking of containment policies and planning to scale up infrastructure as there have been a spate of reports warning about how children are at increased risk for a possible third wave between July and September. "We are focusing on slum areas this time, where there are chances of more infection being reported," he said.
