Several tourists were sent back from the Matheran hill station on Sunday. The local administration did not allow them inside fearing Covid spread. The authorities have said that illegal entry to the hill station will attract fine by police. Monsoon revellers arrived at the Neral-Matheran road. Some of them spent time at the roadside waterfalls clogging the traffic. Over 200 tourists, who reached the Dasturi Naka on Sunday morning to enter the hill station, were stranded after obtaining an e-pass, as only few were allowed to enter the hill station.
