Shortage hits vaccine drive

No vaccine at BKC Jumbo Centre
People gathered outside the BKC Jumbo Centre on Friday as it ran out of COVID-19 vaccines, leaving several persons waiting. "From Day 1 we used to get vaccines a day prior as buffer stock, and till yesterday, we got a sufficient number of vials for this centre. Crowd at NESCO jumbo centre
A massive crowd gathered outside the free RT-PCR testing and swab collection centre at NESCO jumbo centre, Goregaon. Following state’s order, most companies have mandated that employees come with an RT-PCR negative report or a vaccination certificate. Some people have queued up since 6 am. They have demanded that the government must open more centres since people have to get tested every fortnight.
250+ Remdesivir injections seized
Amid a shortage of Remdesivir, a key medicine in the treatment of coronavirus, the Mumbai Police recovered 272 injections of the drug from the Andheri area of the city. Two persons have been arrested in connection to the incident. According to the police, the injections were recovered from GR Pharma in Jogeshwari, where they had been stocked for black marketeering.
