Mumbai: Child falls to death during Dahi Handi pyramid practice at Dahisar

MUMBAI: A 11-year-old boy fell to his death from a Dahi Handi pyramid while practising for the upcoming Janmashtami festival at Dahisar East late Sunday.

Dahisar Police said the incident occurred in the Dharakhadi area. Police have registered an FIR against the organiser of the volunteer group of which the child was a part.

The incident sent shockwaves in the neighbourhood. Police said the child had suffered serious head injuries owing to the fall.
