Mumbai: Actor’s staff held for killing pet dog

The caretaker of a Lonavla bungalow owned by former Bollywood actor Ayesha Jhulka, Ram Andre (48), was arrested on Friday on the suspicion of killing one of her two pet dogs.
Sub inspector Baliram Sangle said, “Based on statements of staff from neighbouring bungalows and articles seized from Ayesha’s bungalow, we arrested Andre. Autopsy confirmed the dog died due to suffocation.” Andre had told Jhulka’s husband that the dog drowned in a water tank on the bungalow premises.
