A watchman of a residential building in Mira Road has been arrested for allegedly sodomising a minor boy of the building where he was employed.

MUMBAI: A watchman of a residential building in Mira Road has been arrested for allegedly sodomising a minor boy of the building where he was employed.
The Mira Road police arrested the suspect and booked him under section 377 (unnatural offences) of the IPC. Police said that the 10-year-old boy was playing in the building compound on Tuesday. His parents had gone out.

The watchman called the boy to his restroom located on the ground floor of the building. He engaged in unnatural sex with the boy, who managed to escape from the custody of the watchman.
The boy got home and narrated the incident when his parents returned. The parents alerted the other building residents who questioned the watchman. He was beaten up and handed over to the police. He has been remanded to police custody.
