Mehrauli murder case: Delhi police in Vasai record Shraddha Walkar dentist’s statement

MUMBAI: The Delhi police team that is in Vasai probing the murder of Shraddha Walkar on Thursday recorded the statement of a Vasai-based dentist where she had a few dental sittings in 2021.

The team visited Dr Ishan Mota’s clinic to record his statement and also collect Shraddha’s dental treatment case files, X-rays and details of bill payment made with her credit card then.

Apolice officer said the Xrays and other treatment details will help match the teeth retrieved in Delhi. “Dr Mota said Walkar visited his clinic on different occasions for three root canal treatments and awisdom tooth extraction in November 2021,” said the cop.

Dr Mota said in his statement that Walkar had at least eight dental sittings. “The treatment records will be additional evidence in the case,” said a police officer.
