MUMBAI: The city crime branch, probing the firing on bookie Ajay Gosalia, has now discovered that one of the two shooters arrested in the case had also killed a woman advocate in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, last month.
Senior inspector Subhash Sawant said that during interrogation, one of the shooters, Rajendra Singh Yadav (46) disclosed that he was involved in the murder case of a woman advocate, Mithilesh Shyam Mohan Saxena (55), in Indore.
Saxena was strangled on August 15 and her ornaments were stolen. A case of murder has been registered at Bhander police station in Datiya, MP. One accused was arrested by the local police. This accused is wanted in the offence.
In the Gosalia case, the police have so far arrested four people, including Rajendra Singh and Rahul Vishwakarma, from Indore in attempt to kill Gosalia in Malad last month.
