'Mamdanisation of Mumbai': Population of ‘infiltrators’ up, UBT part of international conspiracy, says BJP chief Ameet Satam
MUMBAI: lleging that Sena (UBT) is part of an international conspiracy to change the colour of Mumbai, city BJP chief Ameet Satam alleged a growing settlement of “infiltrators”, particularly in Malwani.
Satam made a presentation on Wednesday pointing out that in predominantly minority-resident wards in Kurla, Chandivli, Malwani, and Malad-Madh, the population went up by 50% compared to 2017. He said illegal hutments in Malwani, Mankhurd, Malad, Deonar and Kurla went up by over a lakh, questioning who was behind their proliferation.
He warned that if it is not stopped in time, Mumbai could witness a Bondi beach situation, referring to the attack in Australia by two gunmen that killed 15 persons.
Asked if he was questioning the efficacy of the Central and state govts in preventing infiltration, Satam said he was highlighting Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray’s role in this international conspiracy to carry out the “Mamdanisation of Mumbai”.
He said in 2025, Mumbai police deported 1,000 Bangladeshis. “We will not allow the colour of Mumbai to change.”

Although the influx of illegal Pakistani and Bangladeshi Islamists is surely on rise and needs to be dealt with iron hands, let us not forget the greedy and morally bankrupt Gujjus coming to Mumbai as well - they not only disrespect the locals every now and then, they behave arrogantly towards Marathis. Be it by not renting them houses or refusing them to enter a Gujju area, or not giving them employment. Worse, not even showing willingness to learn Marathi as well. And one more - when 2 Gujjus are speaking in front of a Marathi, they will speak in Gujurati only, showing no courtesy at all, which has been my personal experience.Read allPost comment
