MUMBAI: If students still have to register for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for class XI admission, they have to do it by Monday. Though the First Year Junior College (FYJC) admission process is underway, new registrations will not be allowed from Tuesday.
FYJC admission process began in July and has reached its final stage. New registrations were allowed on 11thadmission.org.in.
While the Daily Merit Round (DMR), introduced for the first time last week, has been extended till October 15, new registrations for FYJC seats will stop from Tuesday. Form verifications will be done only then by the office of the Deputy Director of Education. Registered students will continue to participate in the DMR, in which merit list is announced daily. Over 33,000 registered students still have to take admissions. Over 76,000 seats are vacant.
