Khar robbery: Two more of gang arrested

MUMBAI: The Khar police on Thursday arrested two more members of a gang of five that had barged into a businessman’s home in Khar and tied a 66-year-old woman, Kaushalya Gurbani, and robbed gold ornaments and cash of Rs 32 lakhs last week.
Accused Raju Sonkar and Asim Ali were arrested from Dhampur in Uttar Pradesh. Police have so far recovered 50% of the loot from the four accused.

On Sunday, two accused Mohammed Sayyed alias Kallu and Santosh Goge were arrested. Inspector Dinesh Kadam said that they are now looking for the main accused Shivnath Raju alias Raju who used to work as cook in victim Gurbani’s flat in Khar.
