MUMBAI: City EOW arrested a 62-year-old Juhu resident for cheating a dairy owner after promising to sell him a commercial gala.
An officer said Akhilesh Pandey (50), a Malad resident, had lodged a complaint against Sunil Shah.
Shah, who ran Aiyyapa Construction Pvt Ltd, had bought eight flats in a housing society near Milan subway to redevelop the building. He sold the complainant a gala in the proposed redeveloped building in 2006 but no permission was in place. A probe revealed the accused similarly cheated 43 people and issued them allotment letters.
