Guest house owner killed informer, say cops

MUMBAI: The J J Marg police on Tuesday arrested three more persons, including the owner of a guest house, in connection with the murder of police informer Irfan Chindi.
The arrested persons have been identified as Zakir Ahmed Shakir Khan, Ibrahim Shaikh alias Batla and Mohammed Taufik Shaikh. Zakir, the owner of Liberty Guest House in Nagpada, has reportedly confessed to killing Chindi.
Chindi had tipped off the police that the guest house was being used for prostitution, following which a team raided the lodge. Zakir then decided to kill Chindi.
