Navi Mumbai: A 30-year-old man after consuming liquor, rode triple seat on his friend's bike, with the owner and a woman riding pillion, on the old Mumbai-Pune highway and lost control due to reckless riding. As a result, the bike veered off the road and skidded near a roadside eatery at Bhokarpada in Panvel taluka on April 14 around 1.15 am. The bike rider sustained critical injuries to his head and chest and was admitted at MGM hospital, Kamothe along with the two pillion riders who had sustained injuries to their limbs. Panvel taluka police registered an FIR against the bike rider under BNS and Motor Vehicle Act.
