Deputy civic chief joins Covid probe

MUMBAI: The Deputy Municipal Commissioner of BMC Zone-ll, Ramakant Biradar, appeared before the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai police on Saturday.

Biradar joined the probe in connection with an FIR filed to probe the alleged irregularities involved in purchasing body bags for deceased Covid-19 patients.
