Dental student commits suicide

MUMBAI: A 20-year-old student of D Y Patil Dental College hanged herself on Thursday night. Kalyani Mali, a second year student of dentistry took the extreme step as she got ATKT in two subjects, the police said.
On Thursday, Kalyani went to the college with her father and brother to see the results. When she realised she had got two ATKTs, she asked her brother not to tell their father.Kalyani hanged herself from the ceiling fan in her room after dinner.
