Chargesheet filed in Tunisha Sharma suicide case

MUMBAI: The Valiv police on Thursday filed a chargesheet in the Vasai court against television actor Sheezan Khan charged with abetment of suicide of his co-star Tunisha Sharma in December.

Khan has been lodged at the Thane jail since December 31. His bail plea will come up for hearing in the Bombay high court on Friday. Khan (28) and Tunisha were lead actors in the television serial Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul. The two got into a relationship during the shoot of the serial.

On December 24, 2022, Tunisha was found hanging in the washroom of Khan's make-up room in a studio at Naigaon where the serial was being shot. Khan was among those who had found her hanging and had taken her to the hospital where she was declared dead before admission.
