MUMBAI: Builder brothers Asif Yusuf and Junaid Rindani, who were booked last month in a cheating case by Agripada police for failing to complete a housing project and creating a third-party rights in a flat allegedly sold to the complainant, were granted anticipatory bail by a sessions court last week.

Additional session judges R R Patare gave them pre-arre-st bail on a personal bond of Rs 15,000 each and two sureties of the same amount, said their lawyer Karan Mehta.
In 2013, complainant Mu-stansher Ahmedali Anguthiwala paid Rs 53 lakh to Eimaara Properties Venture Real Estate Developers and registered agreement of a flat in Madani Manor. He said the project was not completed and in 2021, he learnt that the flat was sold to one Anwar Rangwala.
