Dead body of a two-year-old boy has been found near Sandhurst Road railway station on Wednesday a day after he went missing from Nagpada locality.

Mumbai: Dead body of a two-year-old boy has been found near Sandhurst Road railway station on Wednesday a day after he went missing from Nagpada locality. The JJ Marg police probing the case suspect the crime has been committed by the victim Kaif Khan’s father Kadir who is found absconding.
The incident occurred at around 12.30am on Tuesday when the suspect Kadir fled away with his son who was in his wife’s custody at Water Galli in Nagpada.

“The victim was found dead near the railway station. His father is suspected in the case. A team has been formed to track him,” said JJ Marg police senior inspector Anil Madvi.
The victim and his parent’s have visited their relatives’ home in Nagpada which is situated near Byculla railway station. “They hail from Beed and have come to Mumbai a week ago to celebrate Eid along with the relatives. The motive behind the murder will be known only after arresting victim’s father,” said the investigators.
