19-year-old electrocuted in Malwani

MUMBAI: A 19-year-old worker was electrocuted at

Malwani

while repairing a house on Sunday.


The

Malwani police

on Monday registered a case of negligence against his employer. The incident occurred around 3pm at Gaikwad Nagar, gate 8.

The worker, Naushad Shaikh, was pronounced dead on being taken to a hospital. His father, Aziz Shaikh, later pressed charges. No arrests have been made so far.
