Mangaluru: Union minister Nitin Gadkari has informed Rajya Sabha MP D Veerendra Heggade, that the Mangaluru-Bengaluru National Highway will be restored soon.

Heggade had written to the Union minister, seeking immediate action to restore the NH-75 stretch from Mangaluru to Bengaluru. The minister has agreed to take an appropriate decision in this regard soon, a release from Veerendra Heggade stated. tnn

My native place is Mangalore and frequent traveler from Bangalore to Mangalore. Four line work on NH 75 Hassan to B C Road stretch started from 2017 still not completed. Travelling from Bangalore to Mangaluru is painful journey . Let Gadkari travel by car from Sakleshpur to B C road then he will understand what adventure driving it is and let him drink tea on this road. Gadkari is interested only in Nagpur Mumbai express highway and our PM is interested in development of Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh. Sabka Saath and no Vikas of Mangalore people, only want vote. And heard that Shiradi ghat tunnel project is scrapped for cost escalation and informed by our Road transport minister in Rajya Sabha. How is it possible same western Ghat Nagpur express road is built. End of the day PM want Adani Mangalore Airport make some profit by neglecting road and poor railway infrastructure . Next time vote sensibly
