The Hindu Jagaran Vedike (HJV) will hold a condolence meeting in memory of its workers who were killed in separate incidents at Ratha Beedhi and Badakabailu.

MANGALORE: The Hindu Jagaran Vedike (HJV) will hold a condolence meeting in memory of its workers who were killed in separate incidents at Ratha Beedhi and Badakabailu.
Sathyajith Surathkal, Karnataka south state convener, HJV, told reporters here on Tuesday that the condolence meeting in memory of Manjunath will be held at Rama Mandir on Car Street on February 26 and that in memory of Santhosh Badakabail at community hall at Polali on February 28.

"Jihadi elements are targeting persons working for Hindu cause," he said and added these two workers were targeted by these elements in the recent past.
"We lost Sukhananda Shetty, Polali Ananthu, Uday Poojary and Narasimha Shettigar to these elements, and these two are their latest victims," he noted. HJV will do anything possible to help the victims' families, he added.
