Fancy dress contest for kids

MANGALORE: International Society for Krishna Consciousness unit on Bunts Hostel Road here will conduct competitions for children in connection with Sri Krishna Janmashtami festival on July 26, and August 3 at Sharada Vidyalaya, Kodialbail.
Competitions include Krishna leela fancy dress, Bhagavath Gita sloka, painting, rangoli, story telling, and bhakti geethe.
Students, apart from sending in their entries through their respective schools, can also register on the spot. More than 600 students from 24 schools in the city are expected to participate in the competition. The janmasthami festival will be celebrated on August 14 at Sri Jagannath Mandir along with abhisheka, Krishna bhajans, and prasadam feast.
