Efficient time management was his trump card

CHIKKABALLAPURA: Yashas Gowda lived up to his name, literally. A student of BGS High School at Agalagurki in Chikkaballapura taluk, the SSLC topper studied for three hours daily and ensured that he would revise what was taught the school the same day.

Son of Narayanaswamy and Bhagyamma, Yashas said he scrupulously stayed away from social media and would concentrate only on studies. He practised time management as prescribed by Mohan Kumar, headmaster of the school.

A former teacher and retired LIC employee, Narayanaswamy guided his son in studying. Yashas said he would like to take science stream in PU and crack NEET as well as JEE. He wants to be in the medical field or an entrepreneur.
