Corporation bank wins 3 banking technology awards

MANGALORE: City-based Corporation Bank has won three Banking Technology Awards 2010 for its efforts in using technology in online banking, financial inclusion and training and e-learning initiatives under the auspices of Indian Banks Association (IBA). Corporation Bank is the only public sector bank to have bagged three awards under various categories at the Banking Technology Awards 2010 function held at Mumbai recently. The bank bagged an award under the category of best financialinclusion initiative and best use of technology in training and e-learninginitiatives and runner up award in the category of best online banking amongpublic sector banks. A P J Abdul Kalam, former President presented the awards atthe function in Mumbai. Ramnath Pradeep, chairman and managing director andAshwani Kumar, executive director of the bank received the awards. B R Bhat,general manager of the bank was present on the occasion.
