5-year-old accident victim still on ventilator

MANGALURU: There's some heartening news amidst all the gloom. The five-year-old girl who sustained grievous injuries in the accident on Tuesday at Trasi is getting better, but is still on ventilator. Lizel Crasta is improving and was much better than what she was on Wednesday. The girl suffered left frontal bone (above eyebrows) and orbital bone fracture. She has low blood pressure, said family members.

Anson, 11, who suffered mandibular fracture, is stable. He has been admitted for oral surgery. Fiona, who suffered a head injury, is slightly better, said sources. The other three children, Minora Risha Dias, 10, Mario Olivera and Oprah Crasta, 7, have been shifted to the ward.
