US consul official address women entrepreneurs in Madurai

MADURAI: Nicholas Manring, chief of consular services of US Consulate General in Chennai, on Thursday sensitised women entrepreneurs of Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Women Entrepreneurs (WE), the forum for the business woman in the city, had received a US delegation from the University of Iowa, USA.
Last year in September, women entrepreneurs from Madurai had visited Iowa University to learn the business and trade situation in the country, and their counterparts, mainly students of Physiology and Sociology from the university, are visiting the city for two weeks.As part of their continued relationship, WE signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Iowa University during the meeting on grounds of creating more interaction between the forums, business, trade and cultural exchange.
Manring later explained women entrepreneurs about the procedures involved in getting various types of US visa.
