ITBP sub-inspector dies after falling at Madurai airport
MADURAI: A
The official collapsed while standing in a queue for Covid-19 screening. A medical team at the airport checked Surendar. Later, he was shifted to a private hospital.
A police source said the sub-inspector had suffered internal bleeding in his head after collapsing at the airport.
The body was shifted to the Government Rajaji Hospital in Madurai (GRH).
Surendar’s family members were informed about his demise. The Perungudi police registered a case.
