The Melur couple, who have been claiming that actor
Dhanush was their biological son and fought an unsuccessful legal battle, submitted a petition to the city police commissioner here on Monday asking him to instruct the K Pudur police to register a case against the actor for allegedly having produced fake documents to disprove their claims in Madras high court Madurai bench.
The bench recently quashed a petition that was had filed by R Kathiresan – Meenakshi couple in a Melur court for financial assistance from Dhanush.
Kathiresan submitted a complaint in the station on October 5. However, police did not register a case as they were of the opinion that there was no scope for them to inquire, when a judgment was given based on the documents produced. The next day, the same complaint was also sent to the station through registered post.
Kathiresan stated Dhanush had produced a document from Chennai Corporation that he was born in the Egmore government hospital on July 27, 1983. Kathiresan said that it was a ‘fake’ paper as there was no such record with the Chennai Corporation when he had verified.TNN
