Chef from Dindigul college awarded

Madurai: Chef M S Rajmohan, director of department of hotel management and catering science in GTN College, Dindigul was awarded the ‘Best Culinary Educator Award’ at the Ninth International Chefs Conference of India held in New Delhi recently. The conference was organized by Indian Federation of Culinary Associations (IFCA), the national association of professional chefs in the country.
Rajmohan said that he was the only one from southern India to win the prestigious award. Hailing from Tirunelvlei, Rajmohan is the alumnus of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science. He has a doctorate in Food Culture and Heritage of Madurai.
Celebrating millets was the theme of this three-day international conference, which is supported by the department of agriculture and farmers welfare. The event was inaugurated by Union minister of state, Kailash Choudhary. The conference featured several workshops, live cooking demonstrations, master classes, expert panel discussions and indulgence.TNN
