against the management of Ayira Vaisya Higher Secondary

School

where three students suffered injuries after a portion of the landing structure on the first floor of a building collapsed on Wednesday morning.

A case under IPC section – 337 (causing hurt by endangering life or personal safety of others) was registered against unnamed persons in the management of the government-aided school in South Chithirai Street.

The injured students have been identified as Class XII student V Veerakumar and Class XI students B Kumaravelpandian and S Sakthivelan. One of them suffered a leg fracture while another suffered a grievous head injury. The third student suffered a minor injury on his leg.
