120 nutrition kits distributed to mothers

Madurai: As many as 120 nutrition kits were distributed to high-risk mothers at the community hall, Sakkimangalam panchayat, Madurai East on Friday, under the Sonalika Arogyam initiative. The initiative, funded by Sonalika's CSR programme and implemented by Ekam Foundation, aimed to improve maternal and child health through essential nutritional support. "The right nutrition is crucial for both mother and child during pregnancy," said M Thennavan, headmaster of LKB School.
