Woman loses ₹15.8 lakh in app fraud
Ludhiana: A woman was duped of Rs 15.85 lakhs while making investments through a fake trading mobile application. The police have lodged the FIR after a 9-month inquiry. The FIR has been lodged against Sidhesh Jain, Raj Jain of Gwalior, Jatinder Singh Rathore, Mohammad Zahid of Indore of Madhya Pradesh and Rajni Upadhyaye of Ujjain of Madhya Pradesh.
In her complaint, Anureet Kaur of Gurcharan Park of New Model Town said she received a call from Sidhesh Jain, who introduced himself as an executive of a trading app.

He asked her to invest through the app for huge and quick profits. The accused told her that they would keep 30% of the profit while 70% would be given to her. The woman said she had invested Rs 15.85 lakh, but did not get anything in return. The accused had stopped answering her calls. tnn
