Man arrested for putting pro-Khalistan slogans at his house in Punjab

The police on Tuesday arrested a person for allegedly putting Khalistan related slogans on the wall of his house.

LUDHIANA: The police on Tuesday arrested a person for allegedly putting Khalistan related slogans on the wall of his house.
The accused was identified Talwinder Singh of Khanna who works as painter.
Police said that they got information that the accused had painted “Khalistan Zindabad” on the wall of his house. They added that after the information, police reached the spot and started probe.
DSP Khanna William Jeji said that the accused was booked under section 505 (2) of IPC (Statements creating or promoting enmity, hatred or ill will between classes) and he was arrested.

He suggested that the accused might have been addicted to drugs.
